The IPRS23202 XtraLink IP^TM enables the transmission of RS232, RS422, or RS485 serial commands over an existing IP network to a specific IP address. By allowing the use of an existing wired or wireless IP network, it offers new opportunities in installation and system flexibility, particularly in retrofitting older buildings, where new wire runs may not be practical.
Combine the XtraLink IP^TM with the Xantech Commercial CM8X8CTL eight-source, eight-zone A/V controller, and you can create a complete serial-controlled A/V distribution system without the need to run dedicated control lines.

The IPRS23202 is also a key component in our CRMKIT ClassRoom Control Kit that allows external room monitoring of project status etc. over an IP network.
